The challenge of not having a written transcript I have made a review about this course for Italian, but I have also checked it out in Russian, and it seems just as good in that language) (In a way this is similar to the Michel Thomas audio course, which I also can recommend.

It is not moving to fast ahead, but ensures that you learn the basics before presenting new vocabulary. Lots of repetitions of the basic vocabularyĪ good feature of this audio course is that each lesson repeats the basic vocabulary. For me as a Norwegian who also speaks English and Italian, the sounds of this slavic language are quite new to me, and something I really need to train my brain to get accustomed to.

I especially like how this audio course gives me a chance to learn the sounds and correct pronunciation of the Russian language. I have used the program for 2 weeks straight, and I have to say that I tend to agree. If you follow these three simple rules Pimsleur says you’ll quickly be speaking and understanding your new language.
